son of William & Jacqueline(Young)White,was captain & project manager of Horizon's Rdge Casino Cruise,Lynn & Miami,Fl.,Veteran,U.S.Army for 8 years.∼Mr. John J. White, age 47, of Lynnfield, died Thursday, May 10, 2012 at North Shore Medical Center, Union Hospital, Lynn, after a brief illness. He was the son of the late William White of Lynn and the late Jacqueline (Young) White, also of Lynn.
John graduated in 1982 from Lynn Classical High School. He also served in the United States Army from 1982 until 1990 as an emergency room medic. He was a captain and project manager on the Horizon's Edge Casino Cruise out of Lynn and Miami and most recently worked as a store manager for Target Department Store, Salem. John will be sadly missed for his huge, giving heart and his endless creativity.
John leaves behind his longtime companion of 30 years, Robert Gannon of Lynnfield, six sisters; Susan White of New York, Karen Bettencourt of Lynn, Sharon Tavernese and her husband Joe of Lynn, Jacqueline Gorski and her husband Steve of Lynn, Tracey Wilson and her husband Roger of Indiana and Elaine D'Agostino and her husband Mike of Lynn, four brothers; William White and his wife Barbara of Oxford, James White and his wife Christine of Middleton, Daniel White and his wife Billi Jo of Lynn and Sean White of Wilmington, a daughter, Jessica Bond of Pennsylvania, Damien and Donovan Gannon of New Hampshire and many nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss his charm and kindness.
His Funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 8 AM from the SOLIMINE, LANDERGAN AND RICHARDSON FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rt.129), Lynn, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Lynn at 9 AM. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
