Mrs. Richard Hood, sister of Mrs. Eli Hood, died at their residence, Tenth and Elm streets, Monday, after an illness of but ten days, of dysentery, aged 66 years. She leaves five children: Mrs. Ben Trueman, Mrs. Edward Featheringill, Mrs. Albert Sigmond, of this city, Mrs. Willard Peay, of Columbus, O., and Mr. William Hood, of Massillon, O., all of whom were with her at her death. – New Albany Public Press 13 Jul 1892
