G. Frances Fran (Wilder) Moriarty, or Randolph, passed away May 12 after a brief illness. She was 90 years old. Fran was born in Boston, and was raised and educated in Hyde Park. She graduated from Hyde Park High School in 1939. Fran was a resident of Randolph since 1946 and also served as the Assistant Town Treasurer for the town. She was a member of the First Congregational Church and enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading, and also living in the Seth Mann Residence. Beloved wife of the late James P. Moriarty. Loving mother of Peggy Nelson of Randolph and the late Jeanne Pinto and Judy Moriarty. Also survived by her grandchildren, Tara Moriarty of NH and Thomas Waters of FL. A funeral service will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rte. 28) Randolph, Wednesday at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours prior to the service from 10 - 11 a.m.. Interment Central Cemetery Randolph. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frans name can be made to the Randolph Food Pantry, The Devine School, 55 Old Street, Randolph, MA 02368.
