WILLIAM PURNELL ROVIRA DIES IN NEW ORLEANS
New Orleans, March 27 (AP) - William Purnell Rovia, Sr., 55, veteran New Orleans steamship man, died late yesterday after a four months' illness.
For the past 16 years he had been president of the F.J. Orflia Co., Inc., general agents for the Delta line here. He was connected with the company for 36 years.
Rovira was one of the New Orleans Mid-Winter Sports association, sponsors of the Sugar Bowl events.
