Born in Rockwood, Somerset County, he was the son of the late Oran and Myrtle (Snyder) Miller.
He was a member of the Rockwood High School class of 1954.
He was a graduate of Churchman's Business College of Easton.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He had worked as a real estate locator for many years and retired from Olan Mills Photography of Chattanooga, Tenn.
He was a lifetime member of Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Co., lifetime member of the NRA, Lifetime Member of TPA, an active member of the Franklin Township Fire Police, Lehighton Fire Department and a member of the Lehighton American Legion Post 314.
Besides his wife, he is survived by nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter Sgt. Andrea Beth Miller and a son, Robert A. Miller.
