Jackie Glockner, of Sherman, was born October 24, 1943 in Morrilton, Arkansas to Ola Inez (Powell) Spain and John Edward "Jack" Spain, Jr.
She passed away May 12, 2012 in Sherman, Texas at the age of 68 years.
She was raised in Pauls Valley and has made Sherman, Texas her home for the past 25 years. Jackie Spain was married to Joseph A. Glockner in Sherman, Texas on September 25, 1989. She was a member of Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Spain, Jr. and Inez Spain; and by a brother Ed and a sister, Velma.
Survived by her husband, Joseph A. Glockner, of the home; her children, Tammy L. Porter, of Midland, Texas; and Dwayne Fite and his wife, Jennifer, of Tucson, Arizona; step children, Jeannene of Sacramento, California; and Joseph M. of Colombia, South Carolina; grandchildren, Shaelynn, Faith, Megan and Zackery; a step grandchild, Kristan Maiorca; and a sister, Mary Morris, of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Pallbearers will be Joseph A. Glockner, Dwayne Fite, Tammy Porter, and Steve Spain.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Richie Martin. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
