A native of Mead, Okla., he passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at his home in Denham Springs at age 90. He served and defended our country as a master sergeant in the U.S. Army on New Guinea during World War II. Visitation at Revival Temple Church, Walker, on Friday, May 27, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Wes Courtney. Burial in church cemetery. Survived by his wife of 65 years, Ruth Adcock; daughter, Judy Ann Price and husband Jim; sons, Hoytt Adcock Jr. and wife Linda, Richard Adcock and wife Angela, and Tom Adcock and wife Cindy; brother, William Adcock; grandchildren, Kim and Mark Sherman, Tera and Rhett Miller, Jennifer and Bobby Armstrong, Brian, Carrie, Robert, Melissa, Sean, Jacob and Angi, Crystal Adcock, Brandi Hanson, Kevin Spencer, James Price, Shannon and Troy Bozeman, Todd and Justin Price and Austin and Brandi Waguespack; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
