Dr. Ivan M. Hunzelman, a Galena optometrist, died Thursday night in Galena Hospital following a brief illness. He was born March 12, 1905, in Marengo, Iowa, son of Charles and Elizabeth (Burgy) Hunzelman. He married Emily Swain March 14, 1925, in Marengo, Iowa. Surviving are his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Ada) Allendorf of Galena; and five grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Nash-Schmadeke Funeral Home here. The Rev. Joe F. Gibbons, pastor of First United Methodist Church, IW11 officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight.
