Archil Hamel Dies
Archil Hamel, resident of Clyde for many years, died at the St. Joseph hospital on Monday, following a short illness. He was 92 years old, having been born in Canada, Aug. 1, 1847.
Surviving are his wife, Katherine Hamel, and these children: Mrs. George Beauregard, of Concordia; Mrs. Z. Breault and Mrs. Alphonse Benoit, of Clyde; Mrs. Roch Lanoue, of Aurora; Fred Hamel of Miltonvale; Mrs. Rosa Plant, of Plainville; Wilbur and Harry Hamel, of Zurich; Tobie Hamel, of Palco; Jacob Hamel, of Boulder, Colo.; and Napoleon Hamel of Adam, Canada.
Funeral services were held this morning at the Catholic church at Clyde.
