TWIN FALLS - Susan R. Herman, 80, of Twin Falls, died Sunday at Magic Valley Medical Center after a long illness.

Born Oct. 18, 1903, in Liebenthal, Kan., she moved to Idaho Falls in 1942. She moved to Filer in 1950, to Modesto, Calif., and then to Twin Falls in 1958.

She married Vincent Herman on May 30, 1922, in Liebenthal.

She was a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church, the Legion of Mary and the Idaho Council of Catholic Women.

Surviving are: three sons, Matt Herman, Alvin Herman and Frank Herman, all of Twin Falls; six daughters, Theresa Hogaboam of Lewiston, Mary Beth Egbert of Filer, Mary Silva and Rose Deadmond, both of Modesto, Calif., Bertha Beck of Brandon, S.D., and Serena Austin of Glenpool, Okla.; four brothers, Martin Brungardt, Tony Brungardt, Barnard Brungardt and Frank Brungardt, all of Garden City, Kan.; three sisters, Barbara Matza and Rose Rupp, both of Garden City, and Mary Hart of Chicago; 20 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son.

The rosary will be recited Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Reynolds Funeral Chapel. The funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday at 2 p.m. in St. Edward's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Perry Dodds as celebrant.

Friends may call at the funeral chapel Wednesday until the time of rosary.
