Services will be Saturday at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, Marietta, Ga. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park, Ga. Jennings Funeral Home and Crematory, Sarasota, handled arrangements.
Survivors include a brother, Richard W., and wife, Jerri, of Marietta; and niece Alexandria M. Devon and her son, Noah Edward Devon, of Austin, Texas.
He also leaves behind his trusted buddy of many years, Chris Nilsson of Sarasota, whom Lynn mentored and cared for as a son; and his beloved golden retriever, Molly.
Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Buffington Devon and Connie Wallace Devon; and one brother, Donald Edward Devon.
Born in San Antonio, Texas, Lynn graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach with a degree in airport management. He worked in the aviation industry for years in the states of Texas and Florida, with his most recent position being manager of airport operations at the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. Besides aviation, Lynn also enjoyed golfing, boating and especially reading.
