She was an architectural designer who has worked for the firm of Diana Kellogg, the prestigious Parrish Hadley Associates, and leading designer Annabelle Selldorf. She was Co-author of 'The Kennedy Green House', 2010 Umbrage Editions. Mary Richardson Kennedy was remembered as a best friend who lived life to the fullest while battling depression. "She was brilliant and she was beautiful and she cared so very deeply about everybody around her. She loved her children more than anything else. She was battling those demons. She was an angel who was brought to live with us here on Earth. God just brought her back up to heaven and said. ‘You don't have to fight for me anymore' " , said longtime friend and sister-in-law Kerry Kennedy. She married Robert F. Kennedy Jr in 1994. The prominent environmental lawyer is the third of 11 children born to Ethel and Sen. Robert F. Kennedy. A private memorial service was held Saturday, May 19th, at St Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Bedford.
