Ima L. Watson, age 94 of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away on May 15, 2012 at Frances Streitel Nursing Home in Collinsville, Oklahoma. Ima was born August 15, 1917 in Charleston, Arkansas to Woodford Waldon and Ada Cornelia (Flynn) Streeter. She married Ira Watson on November 21, 1936; he preceded her in death on July 11, 1998. Ima was a member of the Baptist Church and had lived in Hominy for 11 years.

She is survived by three children; son-in-law; daughter-in-law; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

Ima was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ira, three brothers: Joe, Lee and Ray, three sisters: Grace, Pearl and Ruth.

Funeral services for Ima were held Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Nazarene Church in Hominy with Carl Brown officiating. Musical selections for the service were "Amazing Grace" and "In the Garden".

Interment in the A.M. Power Cemetery was under the direction of Powell Funeral Home, Hominy.
