Evayln was born May 22, 1935, in Burley, Idaho, the daughter of John and Priscilla Clayton Morrison.
She married Charles Young on August 7, 1955.
Evalyn was an active member of the LDS Church, Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, and TOPS.
She is survived by her husband, Charles; their five children, Richard (Carma Jean) of Blackfoot, Diane Sinclair of Billings, Mont., Pat (Terry) Holland of Salmon, Virginia (Kim) Christensen of Soda Springs, Doris (Dennis) Rank of Pinedale, Wyo. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2012, at the LDS Church located at 300 E. Chapel Road in Pocatello. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery. A viewing will be held Sunday, May 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the same location.
The family would like to give heartfelt thanks to all of Evalyn's many friends for their caring and support during this difficult time.
Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home, Rupert, Idaho.
