Agnes was one of four children born to Annie Maria Theresa Gamble (1865-1942) and Paul Joseph Maximilian Skaldnikiewicz (aka John Carleton) (1865-1894). Agnes was born at St Thomas's Mount, Madras, India on Monday 29 December 1890. She died on Wednesday 16th April 1980 at the age of 89 at Cranworth Nursing Home in St. Helier, Jersey.
