Funeral services for Cecil Gilbert LaGrone, Jr., 82, of Hallsville, will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Deadwood Cemetery in Panola County, Texas. He was born July 12, 1929, to Cecil Gilbert, Sr., and Willie Gladys Gates LaGrone in Deadwood, Texas.
Cecil was in the Air Force and a Past Master of Marshall Masonic Lodge. He was a Past Worthy Patron of The Order of The Eastern Star #356. Cecil was also a Shriner. He retired from Arkla Gas as a Master Service Technician. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Cecil enjoyed his grandchildren, they were his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Willie LaGrone; and his sister, Winifred LaGrone.
Cecil is survived by his wife, Brenda LaGrone, son, Scott LaGrone; daughter, Rebecca Campbell and husband Brett; grandchildren, Peyton LaGrone, Sadie LaGrone, Will Campbell, Andee Campbell, and Colt Campbell.
