Aaron Wallace Brashear, 78, of Williamstown, Kentucky, died Saturday, February 28, 2004, at the East Kentucky Veterans Administration facility. He was a cabinet maker and kitchen planner and a Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion C. and Virgie Brown Brashear. Survivors include his wife, Janet C. Brashear; two sons, Wallace Eugene Brashear of Williamstown and Robert Marion Brashear of Berea; two daughters, Sharon Lynn Brashear of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Susan Brashear Cornett of Williamstown; three brothers, Harold Brashear, Keith Brashear and Robert "Chig" Brashear, all of Viper; four sisters, Stella Ison of Detroit, Michigan, Ann Pendleton of Sanford, Florida, Lucille Raby and Thelma Riddle, both of Morristown, Tennessee; and five grandchildren. Fuenral services were held March 2 at Engle-Walker Funeral Home in Hazard. Burial with military honors delivered by the Hazard Disabled American Veterans Chapter No. 64 was in the Englewood Cemetery at Christopher.
