Framk Setser..... Services will be held Friday at 10 am in the chapel of Peers-Lorentzen Funeral Service for Elmer Framk Setser, 74, 957 Manor Drive. He died Tuesday in a Tulare Hospital. Setser was a native of St. Clair Tenn. He came to Tulare with his parents at the age of 4 years and attended Tulare Schools. He married the former Marian Ruth Moore, April 3, 1926 in Visilia. They have lived in Tulare since the marriage.
Setser worked at Knudsen Creamery, Visalia for 21 years retiring in 1971. Prior to that he worked at the Old Golden State Creamery for 26 years., when it closed in 1949 he worked for one year at the Tulare Peacock Dairy before going to Knudsen.
He was a member of the First Christian Church.
In addition to his wife, Setser is survived by a son Kenneth Setser, Stockton; a daughter Billie Jean DeLap, Fresno; six grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; two brothers Thomas Setser and John Setser, both of Tulare; seven sisters Dolly Evans and Ruby Zuimkeller, both of Fresno; Belle Smth Visalia; Hazel Lowe Planada; Mamie Williams, Monterey; and Virgina Purttle and Rosalie Moore, both of Tulare.
The Rev. William Johnson of the First Christion Church will officiate, burial will be in the Tulare Cemetery. The family ask that rememberances be made in the form of contributions to the Church's Memorial Fund.
