Diana Mandeville Blackmon, 57, of Conyers, Ga., passed away on Nov. 30, 2003, after a two-month struggle with cancer.
Diana was born in Temple, Texas, and grew up in Atlanta.
She taught elementary school for 32 years at J.H. House Elementary School in Conyers and retired in 2002.
Diana is survived by her husband, Frank (Jerry) Blackmon; daughters, Amy Blackmon and Lara Keene, both of Conyers; grandchildren, James, Destiny, Justin and Jordan; mother, Evelyn Mandeville of Conyers; and sisters, Carole Reese of Conyers and Jeanne Cobian of Smyrna. Diana was a loved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, beloved daughter and sister.
A memorial service will be held at Heritage Hills Baptist Church on Ga. 212 in Conyers on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, at 2 p.m.
