John J. Williams Jr., 56, died at 3:30 AM Wednesday.He was born Sept. 13. 1890 the son of John R and Motie Means Williams.
He graduated from the Colfax High school, and attended Illinois Wesleyan university, and graduated from Northwestern university in 1911
Surviving are his wife, and one son. John R. Williams III. three daughters. Mrs. Motie Jane Callans Mrs. June Goodpaster and Olive May Williams; his father; and two grandchildren.
He entered the grain business. with his father, in 1911. and continued until ill health caused his retirement
He was a member of Methodist church at Colfax, the Consistory at Bloomington. and Alpha chapter, Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity.
