Son of Herbert H. and Emma Brand Greenburg.

He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Navy.

He married Ruth Lillian Beiter Britain on Sept. 4, 1947. She preceded him in death in 1979.
He married Pat Anglen Jones. They later divorced.
He married Nancy Anglen Britain on Oct. 15, 1982 at Miami, Oklahoma.

He raised his step-son Butch Britain, of Douglas, Ks.

Step children:
Charles Spalding III, Scott and Don Britain, Linda Kirchoff, Kathleen Henderson, Mary Vest, and Sandy Dye.
