A Mass for Richard N. Frissell, 58, of Bloomfield will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in
St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Bloomfield. Arrangements are by the Levandoski
Funeral Home, Bloomfield.
Mr. Frissell, who died Saturday in Mountainside Hospital, Glen Ridge, was the
supervisor of fine arts for the Bloomfield school system for three years. Prior to
that, he held the same position at Rutherford High School for 17 years.
Mr. Frissell earned a bachelors degree from Bowling Green (Ohio) University,
and masters degrees from Elmira (N.Y) University and Syracuse (N.Y.)
University.
He was an Eucharistic minister and team member of the Cornerstone Retreat at
St. Thomas Church.
Mr. Frissell was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Art Administrators of
New Jersey and the New Jersey Music Educators Association.
Born in Sandusky, Ohio, he lived in Elmira, Syracuse, West Orange and
Rutherford before moving to Bloomfield three years ago.
