Lewis Edward "Eddie" Addair, Sr. age 62 of the Springville community in North Tazewell, VA died Friday, March 4, 2011 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center in Bluefield, WV. Born November 13, 1948 in McDowell County, WV, he was a son of Juanita Hamilton Addair of Tazewell, VA and the late Edward Addair. He attended Destiny Outreach Church. Mr. Addair enjoyed coon hunting, his dogs and horses. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Eddie Addair, Jr. and wife, Tish of War, WV, Bridget Addair Brooks, John Addair and wife, Tonya, Brian Addair, and Angela Addair Roberts and husband, Chris all of Tazewell, VA; one step son, James Blankenship of Asheville, NC; three brothers, Oliver "Hammy" Addair and wife, Lynett of Bristol, TN, Timmy Addair and wife, Vanessa of Caretta, WV, and Glen Addair and wife, Sheila of Bristol, TN; five sisters, Lucky Mounts of Collinsville, VA, Gail Rowe and husband, Bobby of Martinsville, VA, Sarita Lough, Bobby Ann Addair, and Gwen Wilson all of Tazewell, VA; fourteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; five step grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; his former wife and special friend Ann Addair, and very close friends, Gerald Baker and wife, Janie of Hinton, WV and Bobby Baker and wife, Patty of Bluewell, WV. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Monday, March 7, 2011 at Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell, VA with the Reverend June Sweeney and the Reverend Spencer Oxford officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA. Pallbearers will be Wayne Peery, Bobby Rowe, Little Bobby Rowe, Jason Rowe, Ryan Addair, Zachery Addair, Kevin "Patches" Addair, and Chad Lowe. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9 PM Sunday, March 6, 2011.
