Ellen Ozell Latham Lewis was the 3rd child of 6 children born to Minnie Sue Baker Latham & John Harvey Latham. She was born Coryell County, Texas. In 1933, while attending a local tent revival, from across the room, Eugene Henry Lewis espy Ozell. Right then & there he decided that she was the one and only girl for him. He rode a borrowed white horses across Coryell Co. to woo Ozell until she agreed to marry Eugene. They were married Dec. 10, 1933 in Coryell Co. They had 8 children- 3 sons & 5 daughters. Ozell & Eugene were married for 55 years. She was the Grandmother of 20 grandchildren. Two which preceded her in death- Raymond Don Pennington-memorial # 84915736 and Lisa Annette Bingham memorial # 140257088.
