Doy Brown, 90, 613 South Fourth Street, Woodsfield, died Tuesday, April 21, 1998 at the Barnesville Hospital, Barnesville Ohio. He was born at Jasper, Ark. on August 14, 1907, a son of the late Oscar and Lovie Lee Brown.

He was a retired supervisor for the Nelson Tree Service in Dayton and a Protestant.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Cora Young, Ida Pruitt, Georgia Clayburn and Louise Brown; two brothers, Howard and Wilburn Brown.

Surviving are his wife, Nettie Morris Brown; two sons and three daughters; two sisters,a brother, also 14 grandchildren,16 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, today 5-8 p.m., where services will be held at 1p.m. Friday, with minister Fred Ricer, Jr officiating. Burial follows in Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield.
