Mildred Grace Bauer;
Millie went peacefully home to the Lord on May 19 following a brief illness, and 10 days after her 89th birthday. She was born and raised her family in Buffalo, New York, and then moved to Dunedin, Florida in 1971 with her husband and children. She volunteered her skills and help whenever she was needed. She was secretary of the original Dunedin Creative Artists Guild for many years. She assisted with many Dunedin Chamber of Commerce holiday gift distributions. Millie worked with both her daughters' Girl Scout troops in Dunedin and Palm Harbor. And she was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes parish for over 40 years.
Millie was the dear wife of William (deceased) for 54 years. She was the beloved mother of: Diane (Bill) Poling; Bill (deceased) Bauer (Bonnie McCormick); Marie (Ric Raddas) Simm; and Charles Bauer.
She was the devoted grandmother of Shannon (Michael Waites) Cirillo; Vanessa (Chris Hitchingham) Simm; Jessica (Andrew) Adams; and Brandon Raddas. Millie also found joy in her great-grandchildren.
Millie is survived by her two loving sisters.
Her family misses her beautiful smile and gentle, loving heart. But we know she is now with her parents, husband and son in the Lord's arms.
