Mr. Charlie W. "Pete" Adams, age 88, of Lovelady, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012 in the Houston County Nursing Home. He was born December 6, 1923 in Weldon, Texas and had lived all of his lifetime in Lovelady. Mr. Adams was a veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II. He was a retired rancher and a member of the Weldon Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by wife of 68 years, Opal Adams; parents, Charlie R. and Tay Adams; brothers, Harold Adams, Billy John Adams and Johnny Adams.
Funeral services for Mr. Charlie W. "Pete" Adams will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Weldon Baptist Church with Rev. Mitchell Kleckley and Rev. Jim Brazzil officiating. Interment will follow in the Lovelady Antioch Cemetery.
