Talmage Russell McCann, 65, of Wilkesboro died Saturday, March 3, at the VA Hospital in Salisbury.

Mr. McCann was born Dec. 16, 1935, in Wilkes County to Clyde and Curtie Lowe McCann.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean conflict.

Surviving are two daughters, Vickie McCann Williams and Tracie McCann Davidson, both of Winston-Salem; his mother of Winston-Salem; one brother, Grant McCann of Winston-Salem; two sisters, Grace Dean Brewer of Westfield and Ruth Jones of Winston-Salem.

Graveside services with military Rites conducted by VFW Post 1142 will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, at Pleasant Home Baptist Church.
