Mrs. Chestnut was born in Horry County and made her home in Conway until the past years and then was with a daughter in Wilmington.
Surviving are fours sons, Ollie Chestnut of Conway, James Chestnut of Conway and Arnold Chestnut of Wilmington and Lawrence Chestnut of Conway; three daughters Mrs. C. P. Wellington of Dillon, Mrs. O'Neil Cauldrer of Wilmington and Mrs. Rudolph Ray, Rt. 2 Galivants Ferry; a half sister, Mrs.. Beulah Chestnut of Lake Park Ga; 25 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
