Eleanor I. Kurgan, 80, of 700 E. Brighton Ave.,Syracuse,formerly of Gates Road,Manlius, died July 12 at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., she was a graduate of Fabius Central School. She was a former hostess at Snow White Inn, Pompey. She was a communicant of St. Ann's Church, Manlius, and a former member of the church's choir.
Her husband, Walter V., died in 1994.
Survivors: Two daughters, Patricia A. Pulver of Chittenango and Michele Kurgan of Manlius; a son, Michael of Virginia Beach, Va.; a sister, Shirley Bullion of Maitland, Fla.; four grandchildren.
Services: 10 a.m. Friday in St. Ann's Church, Manlius. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours, 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Tait Funeral Home, 2333 Fenner Road, Cazenovia.
