OBITUARY: Adela 'Pug' Farley, 64, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2008, in Huffman, Texas. She was born on September 1, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas to Betty Louise Farley and Lawrence Henry Hellman. Pug worked hard for Glick Textiles for 29 years. She enjoyed being a grandmother, the great outdoors, the beach, and her annual 'Mother-Daughter Weekend' in Wimberley, Texas. But, most of all, she enjoyed her family and friends. Adela is survived by her husband, Ray; daughter Ronie and her husband, David; son Jim and his wife, Lynne; step-daughter Tami and her husband, Victor; 6 grandchildren; Brandon and his wife, Melissa, Travis, Brittney, Hunter, Preston, and Victoria; 2 brothers, Dutch and Larry; sister, Barbara; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 4, 2008, at Grace Community Church located at 1021 Campbell Road in Houston, Texas, with Pastor Rick Minett officiating. A private burial took place at Brookside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society.
