Leila "Mardelle" Zook, 87, recently of Cleburne, Texas, formerly of Chenoa, passed away at 3:55 a.m. Sunday (May 20, 2012) at Community Hospice of Texas, Cleburne, Texas.
She was born Dec. 18, 1924 in Lexington to Willie and Leila McKeown Ralston. She married Wayne Zook on Easter Sunday, April 1, 1945 in Alexandria, La.
Survivors include four children, Dennis (Janie) Zook and Barbara Elaine, both of Cleburne, Texas; Sharon Mitchell, Gilbert, Arizona and David Zook, Kathleen, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Douglas, Texas; Shannon, Illinois; Jennifer, Oklahoma; Mike, Washington; Rick, Illinois; Melissa, Alabama and Clayton, Maryland; five great-grandchildren and one sister, Maxine Scarbeary, Normal.
