Albin was the daughter of August Wunderlich and Augusta Eckstein. In 1872 he immigrated to the US and settled in Louisville, Kentucky. About 1876 he married Emma Greve and they had four children: Henry, Walter, Charles and Elsie. Albin was a manager in a plumbing supply company and also retired as secretary of Ahrens & Ott. He died at his home, 3706 W. Broadway, of uremia at the age of 72.
