Irene Teall, age 87, of Temperance, MI passed away in her home August 28, 2000. Born May 17, 1913, in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of Theodore and Emma (Terry) Koella. She married Harlan E. Teall December 10, 1930, in Toledo, Ohio. She was a Nurses Aide and Private Home Care nurse, and had worked for the former Parkview Hospital, retiring in 1959. She was a member of Bedford Senior Citizens, American Legion Unit 0348 Ladies Auxiliary, U.S. Air Force Air Defense Command Grand Observer Corps and Monroe County 40 et 8 Toledo. She was also a volunteer for Girl Scouts of America.
She is survived by a son, Victor (Betty) Teall of Temperance; daughter, Audrey Krill of Lambertville, MI; sisters, Ruth (Bob) Fenimore of Lincoln Park, MI and Patricia Stephen of Toledo, Ohio; 4 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; 2 sisters, and 2 brothers.
Friends may call at the Farnham Funeral Home 1125 W. Temperance, Rd., Temperance, MI Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m. where services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Lambertville Cemetery.
Memorial Tributes may be made to the Bedford Twp. Volunteer Fire Department.
