Also known as Mike Yazlowecki: Immigrated to Lethbridge, Alberta Canada in 1913 leaving wife, Olena and four children Annie, Sophie, Minnie & Nicolas, behind in Bukovina, He Lived with his Daughter Sanchira , her husband George Paskal & family for 8 years. Mike worked for the Lethbridge mines & CPR extra gang, during the summer months. In the winter he would play music on his violin or Zimbolli (auto harp) for weddings and other gatherings, being paid by what the people donated. He was a small man 5' 3", 140 lbs. and was scared of horses and refused to drive them.He was diabetic and died on Mar 31, 1930,at the age of 68 yrs, 8 months. of complications, chronic nephritis.
