Gloria was born in Sibley, IA on May 8, 1925 to Edward and Clarice Janssen. She married Malcolm Hunt on June 20, 1945 in Sibley, IA. She was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, Barnum, IA. She loved baking goods for the grandkids and sons-in-law such as cookies, cinnamon rolls and pumpkins pies. She was and avid quilter and also crocheted. She enjoyed camping and fishing but spending time with her family and friends was most important.
Gloria is survived by her husband Malcolm; children Edith (Ron) Bashor of Green Valley, AZ, Dan (Barb) Hunt of Clare, IA, Carole (Tony) Frisina of Gastonia, NC, Mary (Kerry) Balm of Belmond, IA and Margaret (Gary) Barrier of Peculiar, MO; 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; her sister Lois Abels of Sibley, IA; her brother Jerry (Lee) Janssen of Worthington, MN and sister-in-law Peggy Seivert. She was preceded in death by her sister Marion Seivert; brothers-in-law James Seivert and Delbert Abels and her grandson Jonathon.
