"Mrs. Mary Immel, a well known and respected resident of Sandusky county, who
resided near Kingsway died at the home of her son C.B. Bauman, near Risingsun,
Saturday morning at 5:30. The cause of her death was paralysis. Four weeks ago
Mrs. Immel was stricken at her home and was removed to her son's home near
Risingsun, and after she was taken there she suffered a second stroke and grew
gradually worse until death came. The funeral services were held at the Four
mile House Reformed church Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock. The funeral cortege
left the Bauman home at 12 o'clock, auto hearse and automobiles were used. Mrs.
Immel was 65 years, 8 months and 12 days of age and was born in this county. Her
husband, the late Wm. H. Immel, died about three years ago. She is survived by
two sons, C.B. Bauman, of Risingsun, and Moses Immel, of Kingsway, besides many
relatives and friends. -- Fremont News"
