Mrs. Meta L. Quedens passed away quietly at the home of her daughter on Monday morning after an illness of several weeks.
She was a devoted mother of Charles M. and Elsie Quedens, and grandmother of Eunice Quedens.
She was born in Bremen, Germany, in 1843, and arrived in San Francisco after a 6 months' trip around the Horn in 1853. Until 1907 she had made her home in San Francisco and then came to Mill Valley.
Dr. Sophie K. Hewitt attended Mrs. Quedens during her last illness.
The funeral services were held in San Rafael, Wednesday, Dr. Lynn T. White officiating. Interment took place in Tamalpais Cemetery.
