John David Stocking, age 63, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 9:45 PM, Thursday, June 10, 2010, Methodist Hospital in Henderson, KY.
Mr. Stocking was preceded in death by his parents John Hamilton Stocking and Anna Josephine Robinson Stocking.
John David Stocking was a member of First United Methodist Church. He owned and operated Sears Hometown Store and retired from Big Lots after 22 years of service. An avid sports fan, Mr. Stocking coached youth soccer and was the former president of the PYSA. He also coached Girl's Softball at the Henderson Girl's Softball Association. Mr. Stocking was also a former president of the Henderson Humane Society.
