Little is known of him presently. He has been referenced in a book, "The History of Kuttutas, Yakima and Klickitat Counties" pub 1904 in an article done on his brother, Francis "Frank" Barnhart. THe only mention of William is that he was a "Commercial Traveler" living in California.
I have seen him mentioned as being killed in an airplane crash in the Phillip ones as well as Iceland.
