John was one of my high school classmates, a year ahead of me. He was active in football, baseball, wrestling, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Art Club and Christmas Dance Committee. He went on to Southern Oklahoma State University. He passed away on January 16, 2004, the same day my coworker, David Fox, passed away. He is survived by his wife Christy, his children Jake and Brooke, and many other family members and friends. He is fondly remembered for his devotion to his family.
