Funeral services were conducted this morning at Crawfordsville for Harold J. McLOCHLIN, 43, native of Kewanna, who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his Crawfordsville home Friday night. Born March 29, 1916, at Kewanna, he was the son of Leo and Minnie OLIVER McLOCHLIN. He was a former fireman and engineer for the Pennsylvania railroad and at the time of his death was representative for an insurance company. He was a veteran of World War II, member of St. Bernard's church in Crawfordsville and of the American Legion and VFW. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Robert NICHOLSON, Las Vegas, Nev.; one brother, Roger [McLOCHLIN], Crawfordsville; two sisters, Mrs. Pete CLEMONS, Rochester, and Mrs. Wilber HALL, South Bend, and one grandson. Burial was made in St. Ann's cemetery north of Logansport.
