HOOSICK, N.Y. - Clare L. Harrington, 90, died Jan. 9, 2009, at Albany Medical Center.

She was born in Cambridge on Nov. 26, 1918, the daughter of Floyd and Isoline (Maynard) Marsh, and received her education in local schools.

In earlier years, she was employed at EZ Mill in Bennington. For 32 years, she worked at Bijur Lubricating Co. in Bennington and for the last six years, was employed at Hannaford's.

She enjoyed ceramics, collecting things, and was a member of the U.S. Trap Association.

Survivors include her companion of 50 years, William Koehler of Hoosick; a daughter, Lee Russell of White Creek; three sons, Robert Harrington of Hoosick Falls, Tim Barbeau of Woodford, Vt., and Randy Harrington of Hoosick; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a brother, Walter Marsh of Yucca Valley, Calif.; three sisters, Helen Holton, Margaret Telford, both of Cambridge, and Elizabeth Shawcat of Stephentown, N.Y.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by a son, Scott "Skip" Harrington; two brothers, Herman and Jess Marsh; and a sister, Virginia Bogart.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home in Bennington, Vt.

There will be no funeral service.

Burial will take place in Park Lawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
