Born January 2, 1920, in Clay County, Kentucky, he was a farmer, a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II, and member of the Rough Creek United Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daisey (Walden) Cupp and Harry Cupp; six brothers, Dan Cupp, Ben Cupp, Earl Cupp, Leander Cupp, Robert Cupp and Walter Cupp; and a sister, Ida Webb.
Survivors include his wife, Alice M. (McFadden) Cupp of London, Ky.; two sons, Jack Cupp and Gary Cupp, both of London, Ky.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 1, at the House-Rawlings Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Denvis Rush officiating.
Burial followed in the Rough Creek Cemetery.
