Mazie Jewels Monasco, 21, loving mother, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 24, 2012. Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Funeral Home.

Mazie was born Dec. 15, 1990, in Fort Worth. She was a 2009 graduate of Crowley High School, where she was an honor student and a standout softball player. Mazie currently had completed three years of a four-year academic scholarship at UTA where she was studying to become a social worker. Mazie was an extrodinarly loving person. In that spirit, her family donated her organs so even in her death she could pass her love to someone who was in need. She will be greatly missed by all those who loved and knew her.

Survivors: Son, Kayden Anthony Curtiss; fiance, Raymond Anthony Curtiss; mother, Tracy Dean Monasco; Papa and Nana, Melton and Ruby Dean Monasco; and a host of other family members and friends.
