He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marge; children, Barbara & (Roger), Denver CO, Bill & (Amy), Springfield. MO, Darlene & (Tony), Mount Vernon, WA, Joel & (Annette), Stanwood, WA, Carla $ (Frank), Mount Vernon, WA and Cheryl & (Duane), Mount Vernon, WA; 19 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Trudy, Mount Vernon, Joan, Sheldon, Iowa; brother, Dick, Walnut Creek, CA.
In the '60's William taught school at Alameda Christian School in Alameda, CA. In the '70's taught at Valley Christian High, Cerritos, CA. In 1979 he bought the Bible Book Shoppe in Mount Vernon. In 1995 he sold the store to retire.
He was a church Elder, Gideon International member for many years. Served in the US Army
