Government Stone: T SGT US ARMY WORLD WAR II.
Hygin L. Pothier, 79, of Union Avenue, a slasher tender for the Pansy Weaving Co., Pawtucket, for 15 years before retiring in 1974, died yesterday at the McKerley Health Care Center, Laconia. He was the husband of the late Berthe (Lord) Pothier.
Born in Lincoln, a son of the late John and Corrinne (Labrecque) Pothier, he moved from Manville to New Hampshire in 1982.
Mr. Pothier was an Army veteran of World War II.
He leaves a daughter, Jane Burke of Laconia; a brother, Ernest Pothier of Blackstone; a sister, Marcelle Latour of Cumberland, and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. from Menard's Funeral Home, 71 Central St., Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 at St. James Church, Division Street, Lincoln. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Lincoln.
