Mr. Charles Reuben Kyle, 62, of Pasadena, died in a Pasadena hospital
Wednesday, June 16, following a short illness.
Mr. Kyle, born in Houston County Sept, 7, 1902, was a member of the
Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the callaway Memorial
Chapel, with the Rev. A. S. Higginbotham of Crockett officiating. Burial was in
the Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Maples, Lacy Bartee, Hollis Huntsman, Glover Marks and O.
W. Corbitt.
Survivors include the wife, Mrs. Lillie Mae Kyle of Pasadena; two sons, Robbie
Kyle of Houston and Billy Reuben Kyle of Pasadena; a daughter, Mrs. Eva Nell
Page of Pasadena; a brother , K. D. Kyle of Angleton; four sisters, Mrs. Emma
Maples of Crockett, Mrs. Artie Huntsman of Angleton, Mrs. Ellen Arnold of
Lovelady and Mrs. Sinia Griffith of Lubbock, and eight grandchildren.
