A.J. Frazier (1936-2012)

POTTSBORO - A.J. Frazier, 75, entered into eternal life Monday, May 28, 2012, at his home.

Mr. Frazier was born June 28, 1936, in Greenville, the son of Jim and Thelma (Ethridge) Frazier. He married the love of his life, Glenda Wright, May 29, 1956, in Greenville.

He served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy. He spent 35 years in the automotive industry before retiring to pursue his passion for custom woodworking. He later owned and operated Texoma Wood Work. He was an excellent skilled craftsman before retiring.

He loved the Lord and was a member of Georgetown Baptist Church. A.J. always enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Frazier is survived by his beloved family; sons, Andy Frazier and wife Melanie of Denison, and Barney Frazier and wife Belinda of Denison; grandchildren, Sarah Fluitt, Amanda Rowley, Krystal Frazier, Bradley Frazier, Anderson Frazier III, Dillon Frazier and Jeffrey Frazier; and great-grandson, William Fluitt. Mr. Frazier was preceded in death by his parents, and beloved wife, Glenda Frazier.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Georgetown Baptist Church with Pastor Bobby Hancock officiating. Interment will be held at 2 p.m. Brigham Cemetery. Family visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to service time at the church on Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Frazier, Dillon Frazier, Anderson Frazier, Chris Fluitt, Ron Hooper, Jeffrey Frazier and Jim Wisett.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, located at 604 West Main in Denison.
