Della Mae McCollum, 87, Macomb, died at
4:35 p.m., Friday Jan. 19, 2007, at The Elms Nursing Home, Macomb.
She was born Dec. 20, 1919, in St. Marys, the daughter of Clyde R. and Catherine H. (Robinson) Booz.
She is survived by one niece, Darlene Dixon, Galesburg; several great nieces and nephews; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Russell and Harley Booz, and one nephew, Clyde Harley Booz.
She lived in Galesburg before moving to Colchester in the late 1960s. She worked for the Colchester Community School District 180 for a number of years. The last four years she made her home at The Elms, Macomb. She was an avid reader and was always writing reminders on note pads.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007, at Oaklawn Gardens, Galesburg.
